Hedge End is officially twinned with Comines-Warneton in Belgium, although we also have links with Comines, France. You see the coat of arms of the Belgian town above. The Hedge End Twinning Association is a non-political organisation which exists purely to assist the local community make the most of the opportunities that can arise through twinning on a personal level. We wish to encourage youth and adult organisations, clubs, companies, groups and all our townspeople to communicate and exchange visits with each other. In this way, you can experience for yourself what life is like in another country without relying on what the media wish you to see and hear.
