This publication, mostly by Wm. May, provides a brief description of the main features of both Fleet and Crookham and lists of residents/occupants. The listings are in two parts; a) by road, showing the trade carried out if commercial premises and b) alphabetical order of surname.
The library has the 1910, 1923, 1926, 1929, 1936, 1939 and 1950 editions. The directories are available on request at the Enquiry Desk.
The Fleet & Crookham Local History Group Newsletter is published three times a year and in addition to reports on Group activities it also carries articles on the area's local history. The current issue and back numbers from 1986 will be found on top of the filing cabinet near the Local History shelves in the Reference Section. It is expected that an Index will be available for this by the end of 2001.
The current issues of Fleet News, Fleet Mail, Fleet Courier and Surrey-Hants Star are on the shelves in the Periodicals Section. Copies are kept for six months and these back issues are available on request at the Enquiry Desk. Additionally there are bound copies of the Fleet News for 1908, 1909, 1912, 1914, 1915, 1916 and 1917. These are in a unit alongside the map chest in the Reference Section.

This is published quarterly and contains articles on current happenings on the canal and in the Canal Society and items relating to the history of the canal. A small collection of photographs and postcards is held, mostly in black & white but some in colour. These pictures, which are not indexed, may be viewed on application to the Enquiry Desk.

A small stock of plans produced by Chas. E Goad Ltd is held. These show the location of properties in Fleet town centre and their owners/occupiers. Plans for 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 are available on request at the Enquiry Desk.
