Advice can be obtained from Citizens Advice by one or more of the following methods:
- The national Citizens Advice website - www.adviceguide.org.uk. This service includes easy to understand factsheets to print or download and also provides practical, reliable, up-to-date information, including frequently asked questions in English, Welsh, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu and Chinese on a wide range of topics. Information is continuously reviewed by our team of advisers and covers England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
- Telephone Advice:
Use the new combined telephone advice service of Gosport and Fareham CABx by phoning 08444 77 22 32. This service will be available five days a week (Monday to Friday) from 10am to 4 pm. For further details see New Phone Service.
- Using Gosport CAB’s drop-in service. See Find or Contact us for opening hours.
- Using Gosport CAB’s appointment service. Phone (023)-9260-4608 from 9am to 5pm any weekday. Also see Find or Contact us.
- Using the national Citizens Advice recorded message Telephone Advice service outside normal opening hours (see Find or Contact us for details of these hours) - phone 0844-499-4190 (replacing 0870-126-4074) but please note that this costs up to 5p per minute from a BT landline at all times.
