I studied painting and printmaking at Southampton college of Art and St Martins School of Art. My prints are mainly wood engravings: original drawings are hand engraved into the end grain of box or fruit wood and printed in limited editions. My work has been selected for exhibition by the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of Painter/Printmakers, the Society of Wood Engravers, the Observer/Hunting Group, the finals of the Singer/Friedlander and Sunday Times watercolour competitions and the Folio Society.
