NEHHAS is interested in historical and archaeological matters relating to North East Hampshire. We encourage members to take part in research, field work and excavations. No previous experience is needed to join the Society as we can provide guidance and training when necessary.

| From September to the end of June we hold meetings on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month in Farnborough. The society maintains a substantial library of books, maps and documents to which members have access. NEHHAS also issues at least three newsletters per year, members are invited to submit articles for publication.
An AGM, at which the committee report on the past year and candidates seek election to office, is held each spring. During the summer there is usually an outing organised to a site or museum of interest. During the year NEHHAS members often take part in joint activities with other local groups.
