Public Health Development promotes, organises and supports education,
training and development for the public health workforce in Hampshire
and the Isle of Wight.
We work in partnership with NHS Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), local authorities
and other agencies in the development of their staff.
We support all types of staff, medical and non-medical, and we
take a multidisciplinary approach. We are currently funded by the
Workforce Development Confederation, the PCTs and Strategic Health Authority in Hampshire and the Isle of
Wight, the Department of Health and the Government Office of the
South East.
