Christmas Mystery
Recorded early in 2008, this recording contains both well-known Christmas Carols and others which are rarely heard. The choice of repertoire represents the wide range of the Renaissance Choir’s interests. The contrast of the sublime works of Victoria and the exuberance of the Spirituals exemplifies the choir’s ability to sing across a wide range of genres. Tavener’s The Lamb provides further insight into the breadth of the choir’s repertoire.
