Assistant Conductor: Reg Fletcher

Educated at Bemrose School, Derby, the Royal Manchester College of Music, Manchester University and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, Reg enjoyed a successful career as a professional singer and conductor before training at the Institute of Education to become a teacher. Success in that field led to his appointment as Music Adviser and Inspector in Hampshire where he lives. There he established the present music services and organisations, lecturing, writing and broadcasting at home and abroad, with substantial experience as an OFSTED inspector and music educator. Now, the senior partner of his own training and consultancy business, he has resumed work as a singer and conductor. His seminal work in music education at all levels is complemented by a busy life in the local community and wide-ranging hobbies including sailing, cooking and golf.
